The Enemy

The Enemy by Charlie Higson
The Enemy #1

They'll chase you. They'll rip you open. They'll feed on you...When the sickness came, every parent, policeman, politician - every adult - fell ill. The lucky ones died. The others are crazed, confused and hungry. Only children under fourteen remain, and they're fighting to survive. Now there are rumours of a safe place to hide. And so a gang of children begin their quest across London, where all through the city - down alleyways, in deserted houses, underground - the grown-ups lie in wait. But can they make it there - alive?

My Review:

Holy crap this was good!  It's a great zombie apocalypse/dystopian novel.  Basically, if you like zombies, buy this!  It was incredibly gory and violent. It was very intense and hooked me from the start. I loved the characters and plot line.  The whole book is very fast paced and will have you turning pages so fast! It is about a group of kids who are trying to survive in a world overcome with crazed and diseased adults. I thought the whole book was original.  This is a great and fast read. If you see it, you should definately pick it up.
